WHAT IS CONNECT kids LIKE?
CONNECT kids, is a children’s ministry uniquely designed with your child in mind! Every Sunday all children (babies through 4th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We are so passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand. Bed Babies to 4th grade do not attend Adult Worship, but they do have their own program throughout both worship times!

FIRST TIME GUEST
When you enter the building Connect Kids is located on the northwest side. Look for the area designated for registration. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
We will ask for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
HOW DOES THE CHECK IN SYSTEM WORK?
At the beginning of the service, parents will visit the Children’s Department and scan the barcode at the check in station located on the first floor of the Children’s Departments. This process will issue a name tag with the child’s name. The Check out process is the same, but you will be issued a receipt with the child’s name. It is given to the child’s small group leader. The leader will match the receipt with the child’s name tag and then release the child to the parent. A child will not be released to a parent without presentation of his or her corresponding tag.

What is the Check in/out system?
Our check in/out system is an automated check-in system that will provide an added level of security for our preschool and elementary children. Families will be able to sign in their children by simply scanning the provided barcode at one of our checks-in stations.
What is the reason for implementing a Check in/out system?
Our polices have always reflected our desire to protect your children and our adult teachers and volunteers. We believe that the check in/out system raises the level of security while increasing the quality of care that we can give your children.
What age group does this affect?
The system is used for children birth through pre-k.
How do I register my children?
Registration is done at the 4-way in the Connect Kids department. Please see a Connect Kids Team member to register.
Why should I register my children?
This is the easiest and quickest way to get your child into a classroom. Upon registration, you will receive a barcode unique to your family. A parent will only have to scan their barcode at the check-in station to receive a name tag for their child. The barcode will be the same for your entire family.
How do I check my children out?
A parent needs only to take the barcode printed at check-in to the room that the child was dropped off. The teacher will check the barcode and the name tag to make sure they are corresponding.
